The August 2 parade runs from Yugawara Elementary School to Sakuragi Park. On August 3 the parade moves to Makuyama Park Avenue before fireworks launch offshore from Yoshihama.

From the parade to the night sky.
After the second parade, the focus moves to Yoshihama Beach. Roughly 2,000 fireworks fill the sky during a concentrated 20-minute display from 8:00 PM.

Dance—or make the dancers louder.
The Yugawara International Exchange Association is recruiting both dancers and supporters. Both roles are free, and neither requires prior experience.

Join the group in the parade and enjoy the Yassa dance together.

Cheer for the dancers and help lift the parade. Non-dancers are explicitly welcome.
What is provided
The organizers will prepare a country-name sash, national-flag fan, and matching happi coat. Send your nickname and nationality in advance so yours can be prepared.

Fireworks + weather plan
Roughly 2,000 fireworks off Yoshihama
The marine fireworks run from 8:00–8:20 PM on August 3 after the second parade. The focus then shifts from the parade route toward the coast.

Yes. No experience is required, and you can choose the non-dancing support role instead.

What happens in bad weather?
The parades have no rain date. The marine fireworks alone move to August 23 in severe weather.
