On Saturday, September 26, from 10:00 to 15:00, NPO Yugawara Yume Farm invites you onto their fields for a chestnut picking gathering with local children and neighbors. People linked to Izusan Kodomo Shokudo and other NPO partners are expected to take part.
Yume Farm is a specified nonprofit founded in 2026 to carry forward community growing that began at Ozawa Farm. The group restores idle farmland near Yugawara Sports Park and Yume Park, and shares harvests with children's cafeterias, care homes, and participants.
Admission is free. Request a spot on Luma; the host must approve each registration, and places are limited. After you sign up you receive a map pin for the farm (town-level Yugawara is public; the exact field is not). Walking is possible but long, so drive or take a taxi if you can.
