Before you go
Most baths are up the valley from the station. Buses from stand 2 run past Man'yō Park (Kōen-iriguchi and Ochiai-bashi stops) to the onsen district in about ten minutes. Yutoro is the other way, on the community bus toward Manazuru.
Wash at the taps before you get in, keep your small towel out of the water, and drink something after. A bath and lunch makes an easy day from Tokyo.
