About New Welcity Yugawara
New Welcity is a large hotel just over the river from Yugawara, technically in Izumi, Atami. It's good for families who'd rather have a roomy hotel room than learn ryokan manners, and the free shuttle from the station makes arriving simple.
The rooms are spacious Japanese–Western, with a few simple singles. The big draw is Izumi no Yu, a wide open-air bath under a timber roof, which is also open to day visitors.
The shuttle leaves from the left side of the station roundabout, by the statue of Dohi Sanehira and the cherry tree. The hotel's site is in Japanese.

The baths
Izumi no Yu is the hotel's day bath: a broad open-air pool with rocks and a timber roof, plus indoor baths, a sauna and a lounge. Children aged three and up pay a child rate. Day visitors drive to Izumi 107; overnight guests park at the Miyakami entrance.
