Weekend Yose and Onsen Rakugo

For daytime yose, take the bus to Mitsukecho and walk about one minute; the third-floor venue has stairs and no lift. Hotel Shiroyama’s evening show is about two minutes on foot from the station. Individual reservations are normally unnecessary; parties of six or more should contact the organizer.

The autumn run is scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays from September 5 through November 29. There are no performances on October 3 and 4. Daytime yose opens at 13:00 and begins at 13:30 at the Yugawara Geisha Association; Saturday onsen rakugo opens at 19:30 and begins at 20:00 at Hotel Shiroyama.

Daytime admission is ¥500 for adults and free for primary-school children and younger. Saturday evening admission starts at ¥500 for adults, with an admission-and-bath option from ¥1,000. Performer schedules and exceptions can change, so check the official listing.
