Two nights · five restaurants · one high-end base
Foodie Weekend
Stay at restored Fujiya Ryokan without a ryokan dinner, then give each of five restaurants its own place in the weekend. The schedule protects appetite, uses taxis only where terrain or distance earns them, and ends within a ten-minute walk of Yugawara Station.

Best for
Couples and serious food travelers who will book the important tables before building the rest of the trip.Budget
High. Fujiya starts around ¥84,160 per person for two breakfast-only nights. Allow roughly ¥29,700–¥31,700 for the five featured meals before alcohol, Herlequin's service charge, taxes, and taxis. The route
Five restaurant bookings over three days.
Friday stays in the Miyakami neighborhood. Saturday uses taxis for Iida Shoten and Herlequin Bis. Sunday moves luggage to the station first, then completes a short, mostly flat restaurant loop on foot.
Friday — arrive and eat locally
Check in before Fujiya's deadline, then walk to one relaxed local dinner.

Collect the stored luggage and use a train from about 20:30 onward. Confirm the live Sunday timetable for the travel date.
Before you book
Book the accommodation and hardest restaurant reservations first.
Book the hardest reservations first
Book Fujiya first, then secure Iida Shoten, Herlequin Bis and Arai Shoten. Reserve Iroha next and FABIO・PIZZA last. Do not book non-refundable travel until the required restaurant reservations are confirmed.
Fujiya includes breakfast, not dinner
The verified plan includes breakfast but not dinner, so all five featured lunches and dinners remain outside the ryokan. Travellers who need breakfast outside the lodging should choose another property.
Move Sunday luggage forward
Check out with all bags, take a taxi to the station and use lockers before lunch. Locker availability cannot be guaranteed, so travel light and ask Fujiya about post-checkout storage as a fallback.
Historic stairs and venue access
Fujiya has no elevator and contains stairs and level changes. Herlequin Bis has a steep approach and is marked as lacking a wheelchair-accessible entrance. Accessibility at the small independent restaurants is not fully documented; call each venue before booking and use taxis when needed.
Recheck the exact weekend
Hotel plans, menu prices, closures, reservation releases, service charges and train times can change. Recheck every booking and route for the exact Friday–Sunday dates before payment.
