Gosho Shrine
Yugawara's main shrine, a few minutes from the station, under a sacred camphor tree about 850 years old and 36 metres tall.

About Gosho Shrine
Gosho Shrine is dedicated to the guardian gods of the town and its hot springs. The first thing you'll notice is the sacred camphor tree, estimated at 850 years old and 36 metres high, with a huge ginkgo nearby.
All seven lucky gods have statues here, which is unusual, and the shrine gives two different goshuin stamps. It's also the finish of the Shiroyama hike.
