Man'yō Park
A wooded park along the Chitose River in the heart of the onsen district, with stream-side decks, a thatched tea house, a café and a day spa.

About Man'yō Park
Man'yō Park is named for the Man'yōshū, Japan's oldest poetry collection, which mentions Yugawara's hot springs. Paths follow the river past poem stones and memorials to the writers who came here.
At the entrance, Genkan Terrace is a glass-walled café, library and tourist desk with free Wi-Fi. Take your coffee or a mini shirasu pizza down to the wooden decks by the stream. Deeper in, Manyōtei is a thatched tea house serving matcha and a sweet, and Soyu Terrace is the park's quiet day spa.
On Sunday mornings the entrance plaza fills with a small farmers' market.
