About Sunday morning market
Every Sunday from 6:00 to 9:00, stalls fill the plaza at the entrance to Man'yō Park. Farmers bring vegetables and a dozen kinds of citrus, fishermen bring dried fish from the bay, and there's bread, jam and juice.
Locals come as much as visitors, so it's a good place for a chat. If you're staying in the onsen district, it's a short walk before breakfast.
