A fisheries-cooperative port restaurant built around the day’s catch, with timing and coastal access as important as the menu.

About this place
Fukuura Minato Shokudo is run by the fishing cooperative at the back of Fukuura harbour. The menu is decided each morning from fish landed at Fukuura and Manazuru, then posted beside the restaurant before opening. It is a lunch destination rather than an all-day fallback: arrive with time, expect the selection to change, and use Manazuru Station rather than central Yugawara as the rail starting point.
