About Fukuura Minato Shokudō
Minato Shokudō is run by the fishing co-op at the back of Fukuura harbour, and the menu is set each morning from fish landed at Fukuura and Manazuru. Expect big sashimi sets, fried horse mackerel, simmered kinmedai and shirasu rice bowls, with the day's list posted by the door before opening.
It's lunch only, and popular dishes go. Come early, bring cash, and sit on the terrace over the water if you can. The nearest station is Manazuru, about 13 minutes on foot.
