About Genkan Terrace

Genkan Terrace is the front door of Man'yō Park: a café, a library and a tourist desk in one bright building, with a free coworking room upstairs and Wi-Fi across the park. It costs nothing to come in, and it's a good place to wait out rain.

The café makes everything to order: mini shirasu pizzas, hot sandwiches, doughnuts with mandarin jam, coffee, and Yugawara mandarin juice. Take it out to the wooden deck or the terraces by the river. Further into the park is Soyu Terrace, the day spa.

Take the bus from platform 2 toward Fudō Falls or Oku-Yugawara and get off at Ochiai-bashi, about ten minutes. The stop is right outside.
