Yoshihama Beach
Yugawara's beach, with shallow, clean water that's good for families, lifeguards and beach huts in summer, and surfers the rest of the year.

About Yoshihama Beach
Yoshihama is the town's beach, a bus ride east of the station. The water is shallow a long way out and gets the top water-quality rating, so it's popular with families, and it's certified by the Japan Lifesaving Association. Dogs are welcome.
Swimming season runs from mid-July to the end of August, with lifeguards and beach huts. Outside the season it's a quiet stretch of sand with the surf breaking, and a good walk before dinner.
